Where can I download MUIs and LIPs?

I'm looking to test Vista in multiple languages. Where can I download MUIs and/or LIPs for Vista? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks, ravisurdhar

I have done my research. If your Company spans the Globe and has multi-lingual employee's then, they would have the resources to invest in the Windows Multilingual User Interface. MUI is not something for the home users, although you have home use rights for XP Pro under VLK.
This
allows large corporations to roll out the same worldwide image with a single install job. Local users can then select the user interface language or it can be set by Group Policy for Organizational Units. MUI also allows different language users to share the same workstation or roaming users to take their localized user interface from one workstation to another. For instance, one user might choose to see system menus, dialogs and other text in Japanese, while another user logging onto the same system might prefer to see the corresponding text in French.
So, you have the option of changing the language to English at anytime you want, also I believe it has translation tools, so if you send a spanish document to the US partners, they will recieve it in English.

Corrections to this last paragraph: * for Windows 2000/XP (and also for Office 2000/XP), the base install must be English. In Vista, the base language is neutral (ie no language) so in theory any Vista user should be able to use a MUI to change to any other language. There hasn't been an announcement made as to more wide-spread availability of MUI packs for Vista though. * document translation tools ave available with Office (not Windows) and are far from automatic.

True, I don't what changes they are making with Vista, I guess we have to wait and see. Thanks for the additional info Mike. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Sorry for the multiple posts, I kept getting error messages.
Andre - What about LIPs? As I understand it, those are aimed more so at the consumer level than the MUIs. I mean, I've seen screenshots of people running Vista Beta 2 in german and polish. Is there a way to change the language of the UI in Vista without downloading a completely different localized copy?

I don't think LIPs is supported yet, but should be by RTM or sometime after, you can learn more information here: http://www.microsoft.com/ireland/gaeilge/ -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "ravisurdhar" wrote in message
